A new study in Thailand published by the American Journal of Cardiology found that seasoning curry (turmeric powder) can help reduce the risk of postoperative heart attack in patients undergoing cardiac bypass surgery. In the new study, the incidence of post-mortem heart disease was 13% and 30% in the curcumin capsule group and the placebo group, respectively.
