精确农业是指利用遥感技术、地理信息系统、全球定位系统GPS等信息技术,在定位采集地块信息的基础上,根据地块土壤肥力、作物病虫害、杂草、产量等在时间与空间上的差异,按农艺要求进行精确定位、变量耕种、变量施肥、变量灌水、变量用药的农业技术,从而达到提高效益、避免资源浪费、减少环境污染的目的。目前,经济发达国家已开始推广精准农业耕作,广大发展中国家也广泛开展应用研究和实验示范。
