《西部探矿工程》编辑部成都分部于1992年11月12日至11月17日在四川省崇庆县地矿局干部学校主持召开了首次编审会,广西、贵州、四川、云南四省区的主办单位的编辑参加了审稿工作。四川地矿局和干校的党政领导对此十分重视,使审稿工作顺利完成,编辑们集体审查了1993年第1～2期的《西》刊稿件,并就在新形势下继续办好刊物的问题进行了认真的讨论,一致认为必须紧跟形势.紧贴市场、多刊登实用性强的稿
