Dai Zenghai: Born in Beijing in 1948. Former Deputy Secretary of the Deputy Chief of Security Department of the General Office of the State Council. In February 2007, he was transferred to the academic department of China National Art Museum and is currently deputy director-level cadre of China Art Museum. Dai Zenghai’s flower art can be learned from his teacher-teacher relationship. Since the 1980s, he has studied painting with Gao Zong-shui and has studied in non-secret style. Yu Shizhen has been practicing painterly painting, practicing painstakingly and practically. His style is refreshing and full of flavor. The flowers and birds paintings of the non-secret school attach great importance to the ancient ideas. Taking the Song and Yuan dynasties as their example, they studied the masters of the Ming and Qing dynasties and learned the essence of flower and bird painting. They sought for development through inheritance and created the atmosphere of the times. The impact given by Gao Zongshui to Dai Zenghai was direct. When he followed Gaozong Shui to learn from painting, he not only gained true teacher’s knowledge, but also attached great importance to Mogu and learned the traditional essence from the legacy of ancient painting. He copied the paintings of the Tang and Song dynasties as well as the Lin Lv Ji in the Ming Dynasty, in the non-dark “magnolia oriole.” Copying is not simple
