2003年4月,四川省人防培训中心在位于成都市红牌楼(武侯区永丰乡肖家村一组,图一)基建工程中,发现数座明代石室墓葬。成都市文物考古研究所随即组织力量对该墓葬群进行抢救性发掘清理。发掘工作从5月14日开始至8月4日田野工作结束,历时83天。发掘清理出九座明代太监墓葬,出土有金银器、青铜器、瓷器、陶器和各类饰品等百余件,同时还发现一批精美的明代壁画和石刻。现将发掘清理情况简报如下:
In April 2003, Sichuan Civil Air Defense Training Center found several stone tombs of the Ming Dynasty located in Hongpailou (a group of Xiaojiacun, Yongfeng Township, Wuhou District) in Chengdu. Chengdu Institute of Cultural Relics and Archeology then organized forces to rescue the excavation of the tombs. Excavation work began on May 14 and ended on August 4 in 83 days. Excavated nine tombs of the Ming Dynasty eunuch unearthed in gold and silver, bronze, porcelain, pottery and other accessories more than 100 pieces, but also found a group of exquisite Ming frescos and stone carvings.
