Gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase (γ-Glutamyl Transpeptidase) (γ-GT), distributed in the human body, kidney, pancreas, liver, spleen, small intestine and other tissues, belong to the cell secretase, the highest content in the cell membrane, Mainly present in the liver in the liver cytoplasm and intrahepatic bile duct epithelium, normal human serum γ-GT mainly from the liver, so the diagnosis of hepatobiliary and pancreatic disease has a certain diagnostic value. Our hospital began to apply in clinical in 1976 and found that γ-GT in a variety of diseases can be mildly increased, non-specific. However, the cure for hepatitis and primary liver cancer, pancreatic disease diagnosis, have more important significance.
