The Institute of Industrial Technology will establish an advanced research system in 1994 to explore a number of promising large-scale research projects to meet the rapidly growing needs of the cutting-edge technology in the 21st century. For some basic issues, preparatory studies will be carried out within a short period of 2 to 3 years to identify those with great development potential that are included in the long-term planning of the country. The next year (1994) of the Industrial Technology Institute will reformulate the system of national scientific research projects, with a focus on strengthening basic and ingenious research and development work.
