马传染性贫血病病毒(EIAV)与艾滋病病毒(HIV)同属于逆转录病毒科慢病毒属.EIAV和HIV在基因的结构与组成上有很大的相似性.Hotzel提出EIAVgp90的2个可变区及附近氨基酸可能与HIVgp120的V1,V2和连接片层(bridgingsheet)采取了相同的结构.这个区域对应于EIAVgp90的V3和V4区及附近区域.本文在Hotzel推测的基础之上,进一步分析比较了这个区域在N-糖基化位点与抗原表位的分布两方面与HIVgp120的相似性.结果显示,EIAVgp90的V3和V4区及附近区域与HIVgp120的对应区域无论在N-糖基化位点的位置与数目,还是抗原表位的分布方面都显示了高度的相似性.EIAVgp90的V1,V2及附近区域很有可能采取了与HIVgp120的V1,V2及连接片层相同的结构.
