One afternoon Flora said to Aunt Agnes, “Auntie, you stay at home today. I will take the goat’s milk to Aunt Clara.”
“OK. Be careful*! Please come back home quickly, so dinner will not get cold.*” said Aunt Agnes.
It took Flora twenty minutes to walk to Aunt Clara’s home.*
Aunt Clara thanked Flora and gave her some sweet rolls(甜
卷面包).
It was six o’clock in the evening. Flora said goodbye to Aunt Clara and went home.
Aunt Clara said to her, “Walk on the next road, because the herd(牧群) is coming back from the pasture(牧场) now and Aunt Bo is out of town!*”

At this time, a boy came. “Carnie, Cathy, go!” he yelled(大喊). He opened the large gate, and the two large cows walked into the yard(院子). Then Flora walked home.

Flora said, “A strange(陌生的) boy saved* me.” Uncle Tony laughed and said, “That must be Mitt Glueberry. He has a good heart*.”
“Mitt Glueberry. Next time I will look for him and thank him.” Flora thought.
