Objective To analyze the expression of urinary NGAL, kapU and lamU in patients with IgA nephropathy and its correlation with clinicopathological parameters. Methods Sixty patients with IgA nephropathy who were admitted to Department of Nephrology, the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Science and Technology from April 2010 to May 2013 were selected as the study subjects. The levels of NGAL, kapU and lamU were compared with those in the healthy control group Analysis of other common pathological correlations. Results The levels of NGAL, kapU and lamU in nephropathy group were significantly higher than those in control group (P <0.05). The levels of NGAL, kapU and lamU in patients with nephropathy increased with the progression of disease, Urinary protein, BUN, Scr, sAlb and urinary β2-microglobulin were positively correlated with pathological indicators IgA, 24 h and eGFR, and urine osmotic pressure was negatively correlated. Conclusion The detection of NGAL, kapU, lamU index levels can help to indicate the severity of the patient’s condition.
