The study determined the resting metabolic rate (RMR) and ammonia nitrogen excretion rate (AN) of Danio rerio at 18, 23, 28 and 33 ℃. The results showed that there was a significant positive correlation between RMR and temperature (T), the relationship between them could be described by exponential function: YRMR = 21.28e0.090 3T (r2 = 0.562, n = 55, p <0.01) (P <0.05).
