作者的调查反映出当前机会公平状况的三大特点：对机会公平状况的主观评价偏低，对不公平的注意集中于权力引致机会方面，亲情关系是机会不公平渗入社会各层面的渠网。机会公平对社会稳定的影响主要来自四个方面：在没有正常宣泄途径的情况下，不满会被某些政治图谋所利用；引起对西方文化和制度的向往，间接否定社会主义；产生不利于社会稳定的心理预期；心理失衡导致行为方式改变。
The author’s survey reflects three major characteristics of the current fairness of opportunity: the subjective evaluation of the fairness of opportunities is low, the unfair attention is focused on the power-induced opportunities, and the affection is an unfair opportunity to penetrate into the drainage network at all levels of society.
