OBJECTIVE: To analyze the effects of various environmental factors and adverse reactions on the synthesis of terpenoids by analyzing the expression of terpenoid synthase. Methods Two-year-old white woody plants and callus were subjected to various adversity treatments. The expression patterns of terpenoid synthase genes in tissues were analyzed by fluorescence quantitative PCR. Results Injury and fire branching induced the expression of terpene synthase in stems, and the effect of fire branching was more obvious. Low temperature inhibited the transcription of various terpenoid synthases. In the treatment of callus, methyl jasmonate MeJA) has the most significant induction effect on terpene synthase transcription. Conclusions Injury and fire branching all induced the synthesis of terpenoids in stems, but the effect of fire branching was better. Low temperature was unfavorable to the white joss sticks, and all treatments could induce the synthesis of terpenoids in callus. Among them, MeJA had the best induction effect .
