The 75th Annual Meeting of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) took place in San Francisco from June 3-6. The participants from 44 countries and regions, a total of more than 6,600 people. Read, posted more than 890 papers. During the meeting there are 240 companies and units of research results, products, technology services exhibition and book fair, film festival. The meeting revolved around how the U.S. petroleum community will meet the “three major challenges of the 1990s”. These three major challenges are: the complicated environmental issue; the exploration power continues to expand abroad; the domestic manpower and financial resources go from exploration to development of geology Redistribution issue.
