一、品种来源马褂木（Liriodendronchinense（Hemsl）Sarg）又称鹅掌楸、鸭掌树，为木兰科古老的孑遗植物，属国家二级珍稀濒危树种。在新生代有10余种，到第四世纪冰川期后仅保留北美鹅掌楸和中国马褂木两个种。它是发展纸浆用材林和胶合板用材林的优良树种。
