沈阳市第五人民医院始建于1955年,是一所集医疗、科研、预防、康复于一体的大型现代化综合性医院。建院以来,该院在历届领导班子带领下,艰苦创业、励精图治,继往开来、再创辉煌,1994年被卫生部授予三级甲等医院。 医院设病床800张,年门诊量60多万人次,年出院病人1.2万人次,年手术量5000余例,抢救危重病人1000余例,成功率在95％以上。
The Fifth People’s Hospital of Shenyang City was founded in 1955. It is a large-scale modern comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, scientific research, prevention, and rehabilitation. Since the establishment of the hospital, under the guidance of successive leadership groups, the hospital has been making arduous pioneering efforts and good governance. It has made great achievements in the past and created greater glories. In 1994, the Ministry of Health was awarded the Grade III A hospital. The hospital has 800 beds, with an annual outpatient volume of more than 600,000 person-times, an annual discharge of 12,000 patient-times, an annual operation volume of more than 5,000 cases, and rescue of more than 1,000 critically ill patients with a success rate of 95% or more.
