本文在系统分析近代林业存在的问题及产生这些问题的原因和根源的基础上，论述了为从根本上解决这些问题，我国科学工作者组织化地应用现代科技知识，结合林业实际，通过四个阶段、历经３０余年的研究，形成的具有中国特色和时代特色的现代林业知识体系。阐明了这一知识体系的主要观点，即现代林学观。并就这一观点的宣传、推广和应用提出了六条建设性的意见和建议。
Based on the systematic analysis of the problems existing in modern forestry and the causes and roots of these problems, this paper discusses that in order to solve these problems fundamentally, our scientists use modern scientific and technological knowledge systematically, Stage, after more than 30 years of research, the formation of a modern Chinese forestry knowledge system with Chinese characteristics and the characteristics of the times.
