Objective To investigate the effects of mild iron deficiency anemia (IDA) on learning and locomotor ability of 12-13-year-old middle school freshmen. Methods Thirty newborns, 12 to 13 years old, 30 children with hemoglobin (Hb) <12 0 g / L and> 120 g / L, were selected as the experimental group and the control group. Vit C 0 0 mg and control group were given orally 30 mg of starch and 50 mg of Vit C for 50 days respectively. The changes of Hb, heart rate, learning ability and motor ability of the two groups before and after treatment were measured, and the significant differences were compared. The results show that the two groups were significantly different before treatment; no significant difference after treatment. Conclusions Although mild IDA has a significant effect on learning and motor ability among 12-13-year-old middle school students. Appropriate diet, iron supplementation and Vit C can quickly correct anemia and normalize learning and exercise skills.
