一 中科院物理所有机铁磁体研究处于国际前列据《中国科学报》报载,中科院物理所磁学开放实验室与中科院化学所合作,于1988年获得由C、H、O、N元素组成的氮氧自由基聚合物,进一步肯定宏观有机铁磁性的存在.中科院物理所磁学开放实验室与北京理工大学合作,发现氮氧自由基聚合前的单体不具有磁性.他们还系统比较了两端有自由基、一端有自由基和两端都没有自由基的磁性情况,实验结果呈磁性变化规律,从而推翻某些人对有机聚合物磁性来源的怀疑.中科院化学所获得多种晶型的氮氧自由基有机铁磁体单晶,通过原子力显微镜首次在国际上观察到小分子单晶表面原子量级的形貌像,这对探究有机铁磁性结构提供了实验资料.
