Q育根素应用在毛白杨“炮捻”插穗中的接穗上的结果是:一是加速砧木、接穗间的愈合,并促进愈伤组织形成和进而分化出“次生根原基”以及由它生育成“自生根”根系。从而提高了“炮捻”插穗扦插成活率和赢得了“地上”、“地下”两部分的生长发育时空一加长“生育期”。二是经处理的“炮捻”插穗的苗高、地径、根量、成苗率和生物量5项经济指标均比对照高出50%左右,故其纯收益提高4.7倍。总之,Q育根素应用在毛白杨“炮捻”插穗育苗上是成功的。
