Overview Canada’s imports of flower quarantine work mainly by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is responsible for the laws and regulations involved include the Plant Protection Act and its regulations, the Canadian Agricultural Products Act, the Seeds Law and Regulation, as well as from time to time to update Plant Protection Act. As Canada is located in the mid-high latitudes of North America, quarantine requirements on imported flowers from the tropical and subtropical regions are generally relatively low, and requirements from the United States are also different from those of other countries and regions.
