利用二(3叔丁基硅氧基) 萘酞菁硅(SiNc) LangmuirBlodgett (LB) 膜对丝状液晶的定向进行了研究,发现在不同膜压下沉积的SiNc LB 膜具有不同的定向效果.在15 m N/m 低膜压下沉积的LB 膜上丝状液晶主要呈沿膜面水平排列,而30 m N/ m 高膜压下沉积的LB 膜则取垂直膜面取向.原子力显微镜(AFM) 对相应的LB 单层膜和多层膜进行的分子尺度上的形貌研究发现,高膜压条件下SiNc 分子以分离的单体或聚集体形式非连续地在基片上呈线性堆积排列,形成一定的分子“纳米线”,并且大环平面垂直于基片表面和挂膜方向.相邻线性堆积和排列的SiNc 分子线间存在一定分子尺度的“沟槽”.在低膜压条件下沉积的LB膜上也观察到了相似的现象,但大环平面有相当一部分以倾斜或平躺的方式存在而不再以垂直基片表面为主要排列方式.对相应的取向机理从范德瓦耳斯扩散力的角度进行了讨论
The orientation of filamentous liquid crystal was investigated by using LangmuirBlodgett (LB) film with two (3tbutylsiloxy) naphthalocyanine (SiNc) films. It was found that the SiNc LB films deposited at different film pressures have different Directional effect. Filamentous liquid crystals deposited on LB films deposited at a low film pressure of 15 mN / m were mainly arranged horizontally along the film surface. However, the LB films deposited at a high film pressure of 30 mN / m were oriented vertically. A molecular-scale topography study of the corresponding LB monolayer and multilayer films by atomic force microscopy (AFM) found that SiNc molecules are discontinuously present as discrete monomers or aggregates on substrates at high membrane pressures Linear stacking arrangement, the formation of a certain molecular “nanowires”, and the macrocyclic plane perpendicular to the substrate surface and hanging film direction. Adjacent linearly stacked and aligned SiNc molecular lines between the existence of a certain molecular scale “groove.” A similar phenomenon was observed on LB films deposited at low film pressure, but a significant portion of the macrocylinal plane existed in a tilted or lying pattern rather than the vertical arrangement of the substrate surface. The corresponding orientation mechanism is discussed from the viewpoint of van der Waals diffusion force
