全日制普通高级中学教科书(必修)数学第二册(下B)中讲到:在n次独立重复试验中,如果事件A在其中1次试验中发生的概率是P,那么在n次独立重复试验中这个事件恰好发生k次的概率为:Pn(k)=Cnkpk(1-p)n-k(*).此公式是概率的乘法公式的应用,也为处理离散型随机变量的概率分布问题做了很好的铺垫,是近年高考热点之一,经常是和互斥事件有一个发生的概率或者相互独立事件同时发生的概率综合起来考查.

This formula is the application of the multiplicative formula of probability, and also for the problem of dealing with the probability distribution of discrete random variables. It is a good bedding that is one of the hotspots for college entrance examinations in recent years. It is often combined with the probability that a mutually exclusive event will occur or the probability of mutually exclusive events occurring simultaneously.
