古往今来,人们对非实用方面的兴趣以及为此付出的劳动,都大大地超出了实用方面。源远流长的壁画艺术作为把建筑的物质世界引向艺术的精神世界的一种手段,一直在美化着人们的环境,陶冶着人类的精神,并和建筑物一同长久地屹立在那里,反映着人类的足迹。中国人早在洪荒年代就开始了自己的壁画实践活动,并取得了“敦煌艺术”等等辉煌的成就。然而近代壁画史却是白纸一张……。今天,随着思想的解放和现代建筑的发展,使沉睡了五百年的壁画艺术得以新生,并转瞬成为当前我国的“热门”艺术。但相形之下,问题也随之而来。较多表现为以—般绘画的创作规律来解释、创作壁画,导致了因片面强调局部的完整,而忽视了作为整体的审美价
