The Quinolol Basin, located in the east of Abamega in the east of Inner Mongolia, is 114 ° -117 ° east longitude and 44 ° -45 ° 40 ° north latitude (Figure 1). The basin is a long, narrow, oval, extending northeastward and eastward. Its periphery is a hilly region and is composed of Paleozoic metamorphic rocks. The interior of the basin is flat and has few outcrops. In the past, although many geotechnical workers conducted geological surveys and studies here, the information obtained was sporadic. Since 1977, our ministry has conducted an oil census work here. We systematically sampled and analyzed five census wells in the area, and obtained abundant sporopollen fossils in the Lower Cretaceous Bayanhua Formation. In this paper, we systematically identify and describe these fossils. Two pollen assemblages were summarized, describing one new genera and 7 new species. By contrast, Bayanghua Formation is Early Cretaceous.
