教育是一种按照一定社会需要培养人的实践活动。培养人才是其共同的本质,教育的培养目标是把受教育者培养成一定社会所需要的人才。这也是所有教育的根本特质和核心问题,是一切教育活动的出发点和最终归宿。我们国家成人教育的培养目标,是把受教育者培养成为德智体全面发展的有理想、有道德、有文化、有纪律的社会主义事业的建设者和接班人。这是我们国家社会主义教育的共同目标。在这一目标指导下,结合自己多年的成人教育工作实践,笔者认为在成人教学中必须处理好群体性与个体性的关系。否则,很难培养出适合现代社会发展的“四有”新人。成人教育作为一种职后教育,是现代经济建设、社会发展及科技进步的重要途径,是提高全民素质,开发成人人力资源的重要手段。成人教育的突出特点就是其教育对象亦即受教育者是成人学员。一般说来,他们都有一定的社会经验、人生阅历,其气质、性格也相对成熟。换言之,他们对人对事对己对物都持有一个相对稳定态度。因此,在对成人学员实施教育过程中应充分考虑到成人学员的群体性,实现成人教学的培养目标:同时,又必须照顾到成人学
Education is a kind of practice to train people according to certain social needs. To cultivate talents is their common essence. The goal of education is to train the educated people into the talents needed by a certain society. This is also the fundamental characteristic and core issue of all education and the starting point and eventual destination of all educational activities. The training goal of our country’s adult education is to educate the educated to become builders and successors of the ideologically, ethically, culturally and disciplined socialist cause with an all-round moral, physical, and comprehensive development. This is the common goal of our country’s socialist education. Under the guidance of this goal, combined with my years of adult education practice, I believe that adult education must deal with the relationship between group and individuality. Otherwise, it will be very hard to cultivate new “four haves” who are suitable for the development of modern society. Adult education, as a kind of post-training education, is an important way for modern economic construction, social development and scientific and technological progress. It is an important means to improve the quality of the entire population and to develop adult human resources. The prominent characteristic of adult education is that the target of education is that the educated are adult learners. In general, they all have some social experience and experience in life. Their temperament and character are relatively mature. In other words, they hold a relatively stable attitude towards people and things to themselves. Therefore, in the process of implementing adult education, we should give full consideration to the group nature of adult learners and achieve the goal of adult education.
