1994年12月1日,南国羊城花团锦簇、风和日丽、碧空如洗。广州美术馆前上百个花篮争奇斗艳,数十辆小轿车一溜展开,展厅两侧的汉白玉围栏上拴挂着用金丝绒扎就的16个硕大红彩球,门楣上一条宽阔、簇新、鲜红的横幅上由中国当代最负盛名的书法大师启功先生亲笔提写的“战士刘超书法展”7个大字格外耀目。
