In the turn of the so-called Heidegger’s thought in the 1930s, Heidegger made a unique interpretation of Plato’s “cave metaphor” from the dimensions of being and truth. Based on this, the article will clarify two issues: first, how can the unmasked truth be transformed into truth as the right one in terms of the transformation of the essential stipulations of the truth? Second, in the more original sense, How did Er governed the whereabouts of the essential question as the unmasked truth, that is, the question of the essence of the non-truth? The reflection on the above question should coincide with Heidegger’s inquiry into the meaning of the being / the question of truth.
