Bronze mirrors, as practical arts and crafts, are the concentrated reflection of ancient social life, cultural thoughts and aesthetic awareness. Bronze mirrors of different periods have distinctive characteristics of the times and continue to evolve as the society changes. Through a comprehensive analysis of bronze mirrors in the Song Dynasty, this article reveals many manifestations of its secularization and explores its underlying causes.
