二战后,美国异军突起,成为资本主义头号强国,与社会主义苏联形成两大国际势力。美国为在与苏联的对抗中获取有利地位,战后初期积极援助希腊和土耳其等国,本文拟从希腊、土耳其以及当时的国际环境阐明美国在战后初期援助希腊土耳其的背景。从而指出美国的战后援助政策的根本目的是防止共产主义势力的扩张。维护资本主义头号强国的国家地位。
After World War II, the United States suddenly emerged as the number one capitalist country and formed two major international forces with the socialist Soviet Union. In order to gain a favorable position in the confrontation with the Soviet Union, the United States actively assisted Greece and Turkey in the early postwar period.
