清末,外国烟草公司为了拓展中国市场,促销自己的香烟产品,印制了很多精美且具有浓郁中国文化内涵的香烟促销广告卡片,这些卡片的背面还印上了年历表,从而成为中国最早的年历卡。20世纪80年代,笔者受香港藏友之托,从国内一位资深收藏家手里购买了不少民国时期的藏品,包括地方纸币、股票债券、美术品、广告历画等,大部分都顺利地分批寄给了香港藏友。其中,有8枚清末宣统年间(同一年份)的年历卡和另外两种藏品因故未能寄出。这8枚年历卡的材质为硬板纸,规格均为20.5 At the end of the Qing Dynasty, in order to expand the Chinese market, foreign tobacco companies promoted their own cigarette products, printed many beautiful and rich Chinese culture promotional cigarette advertising cards, and printed the calendar on the back of these cards, making them the earliest Chinese calendar card.
