Regarding the role of central norepinephrine (NE) in the regulation of cardiovascular activity, previous studies have mostly focused on the brain. This article discusses the level of spinal cord. Experiments with the common carotid artery and spinal subarachnoid catheterization anesthesia animals completed. The results were as follows: 1. The antihypertensive effect of neuraxial injection of ith NE into the spinal cord: ith 2.5 ~ 10μgNE in the rat caused a dose-dependent hypotensive (-9 ± 2 ~ -20 ± 4%) and slowed heart rate (-5 ± 4 ~ -17 ± 4%) effect. Pre-ithα blocker phentolamine, α_1 blocker prazosin or α_2 block
