The article summarizes the application of freeze-dried Artemia salina as the main source of artificial synthetic bait and brine shrimp eggs in carp (Cyprinus carpio) nursery. The fresh hatched Artemia nauplii was used as the control bait. The average individual dry weight (DW), wet weight (WW), survival rate, SGR and FCR were measured. On the 23rd day after hatching, the average individual wet weight reached 45.9 mg, and the survival rate reached 96.9%. Diet2 (containing about 50% adult Artemia and 50% yeast and chicken liver) had the best effect on artificial diets with an average body weight of 30.7 mg and a survival rate of 89.1%.
