从小蜡树的嫩茎叶中分得4个结晶性成分，经理化常数测定和波谱分析，鉴定为甘露醇（Ⅰ），卅二烷（Ⅱ）．β-谷甾醇（Ⅲ）和山奈甙（Ⅳ）。均为首次从该植物中分得。
Four crystalline components were obtained from the young stems and leaves of the young wax tree. The determination of the managerial constants and the spectral analysis were performed and identified as mannitol (I) and decane (II). Β-sitosterol (III) and kaempferol (IV). Both were first obtained from the plant.
