烤烟苗床施肥宜以基肥为主,追肥为辅。基肥用量应满足第3真叶期以前的需要,否则可视为基肥不足。追肥应视烟苗生长状况酌情施用,追施1～3次均可。第3真叶出现前,烟苗嫩弱,对氨态氮最为敏感,追肥必须谨慎从事,氮素化肥用量以每平方米5～10克为宜,追施肥料的浓度一般宜掌握在1%～1.5%,切忌用量过大。无论何时喷施,都必须用清水把烟苗冲洗干净,以防产生肥害。
