Since the 80s of last century, I am not self-motivated, had been asked in a row, for academic friends of the monograph preface. For the first time, my mentor, Professor Du Yi of Shanghai University Publishing House (Shanghai Ancient Books Publishing House, 1982 edition), professor of Chinese Department of Peking University, followed by a few older than my age, can be called my brother, such as Chinese Department of Nankai University Professor Luo Zongqiang “Metaphysics and Wei and Jin Scholars mentality” (Zhejiang People’s Publishing House 1991 edition), Chinese Academy of Social Sciences researcher Caodao Heng “medieval literature history collection” (Taipei Wenjin Publishing House 1994 edition), Nanjing Professor Yu Xianhao, a professor of Chinese at Normal University, compiled a full-length history of Tang Ci (Anhui University Press, 2000 edition), and many other young and middle-aged scholars with unique achievements in recent two decades. They are academics in universities or research institutes. Now Mr. Xu Zongwen asked me to write a few words for his academic thesis Collection “The Theory of Three Represents,” which can be said that I was the only one who wrote my preface for many years to come. It really is a rare fate.
