Objective To investigate the effect of early rehabilitation exercise on limb functional recovery in patients with hemiplegia after cerebral infarction. Methods A total of 76 patients with cerebral infarction and hemiplegia were selected from Guanyun People’s Hospital of Jiangsu Province from August 2015 to December 2016. The patients were divided into observation group and control group according to random number table method, The patients were given routine drug treatment of cerebral infarction, the control group of patients with conventional care, the observation group with early rehabilitation exercise, intervention before and 3 months after intervention, the use of Fugl-Meyer Motor Function score (FMA) evaluation of motor function in patients with Fugl- The Meyer Balance Scale (FM-B) was used to evaluate the balance function ability, and the Barthel index was used to assess the activity ability of daily living. Results The FMA and FM-B in both groups were significantly higher than those before intervention (P <0.05), and the levels of FMA and FM-B in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group after intervention (P <0.05) P <0.05). The grading of daily living ability of the observation group after intervention was significantly improved (P <0.05), and was significantly better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion Early rehabilitation exercise can significantly improve limbs’ motor function, lower limbs’ balance function and activities of daily living in hemiparetic patients with cerebral infarction, and can significantly improve patients’ quality of life.
