据7月19日消息,必和必拓(BHP Billiton)表示计划耗资2.77亿美元将表现不佳的Olympic Dam冶炼厂产能提高约6%,在升级期间将削减产量。Olympic Dam冶炼厂是南半球最大的冶炼厂之一,一直受电力供应不足限制,且在去年一起大的电力故障导致运营关闭两周后,该冶炼厂一直在进行维修工作。 BHP Billiton said it plans to spend $ 277 million on underperforming Olympic Dam smelter capacity by about 6%, and will cut production during the upgrade, BHP Billiton said on July 19. The Olympic Dam smelter, one of the largest smelters in the southern hemisphere, has been limited by the lack of electricity and has been undergoing maintenance work two weeks after a major power failure last year shut down operations.
