从我家出发西行不远,便是武平县城西门马头山。从山脚下再迈步北去,便是正在建设中的刘亚楼将军广场了。在我的记忆中,这里原先是一片山坡地,零零散散地住着几户人家。还在武平二中念中学的时候,我便沿着这里的溪畔走过多回,所以对远远近近的一切并不陌生。现在巍峨壮观的将军广场坐落在这里,是将军带来的福气,也是这块红土地本来就有的福气吧。渐近,露出个将军帽沿;再渐近,便是将军挺拔的身躯;接着便是策马驰骋的将军铜像了。将军骑着高头大马,腰身挺直,双目炯炯有神地遥望着前方。
