上海铜材厂在浙江大学的帮助下,于1979年在φ8毫米铜杆生产线上安装了一套光电程序控制系统。两年多运行证明,这套光电系统性能稳定,控制准确,操作、校验、检查都很方便,满足了轧制要求。φ8毫米钢杆生产由一台φ500三辊开坯机、一台φ350二辊轧机和一台Y型连轧机组和若干输送滚道及收线装置等辅机组成。截面为100×100毫米的铜锭加热后,先在φ500轧机中往复轧制五道,然后送入φ350轧机和Y型连轧机组轧制成φ8毫米铜杆。原来全部按钮都集中在中央控制台
With the help of Zhejiang University, Shanghai Copper Works installed a photoelectric control system on the φ8 mm copper rod production line in 1979.
