1928年之前,我国铁路联运由于政治动荡而基本停滞。国民政府铁道部成立之后,建立了专职的联运机关,积极恢复与扩展铁路旅客联运,推行负责货物联运,提高铁路的运输能力,促进近代铁路和社会经济的发展。铁路联运也存在着车辆主权、车辆调动及技术标准不一致等方面的缺点。
Before 1928, China’s railway transport basically stagnated due to political turmoil. After the establishment of the Ministry of Railways of the National Government, a full-time joint transport authority was set up to actively restore and expand the intermodal transport of railway passengers, implement the intermodal transport of goods, enhance the transport capacity of the railway, and promote the development of modern railways and socio-economy. There are also shortcomings in the railway transport such as the sovereignty of vehicles, the transfer of vehicles and the inconsistency of technical standards.
