如果说,服装之于人类是遮寒蔽体的粗布,那建筑之于人类就是遮风挡雨的棚屋。如果说,服装之于人类是华美高尚的品位,那建筑就是富丽堂皇的情结。如果说服装是文明进步的图腾,那建筑便是积淀历史、传承文化的阶梯。可以说,建筑和服装在人类的不同发展阶段所扮演的角色都不尽相同,但是不变的是建筑与服装那难以割舍的同命情缘。人类文明再进步,工业再发达,但是在相同时期建筑与服装永远在时代潮流里共同进退。服装是行走的建筑,建筑是岿然的艺术。二者相辅相成,互相影响,相互进步,继承着每个时代的艺术思潮,承载着世界文明的蜕变,更体现着历史上审美品位的变迁与轮回,却又有各自独特的品性。服装的变化日新月异,而建筑仿佛长者,伫立在一旁,审视着服装从沉静到活泼、从端庄到简约、从复古到未来。服装就像是孩童,总是奇思妙想,思维怪诞,而建筑就像是母亲,对孩提不离不弃,且对于孩童的影响却也始终未变。
