1982年10—12月约两个半月的时间里,我们一行四人赴美考察,访问了12个城市,47个单位。主要访问了13个大学的医学院和公共卫生学院,7个有关专业的科研机构,以及一些医院、工厂、农场和矿山等。访问的目的是了解美国环境卫生和劳动卫生教学、科研现况及动向。 美国环境卫生和劳动卫生的教学情况 美国的医学教育体制与我国不同。医学院和公共卫生学院基本上都设在综合性大学内。公共卫生学院绝大多数只收研究生。劳动(或职业)卫生包括在环境卫生中,学生主要来自工学院、或化学、物理、法律、兽
During about two and a half months from October to December 1982, our four-man delegation went to the United States for inspection and visited 12 cities and 47 units. The main visit to the 13 universities and public health schools, seven related professional research institutes, as well as some hospitals, factories, farms and mines. The purpose of the visit is to understand the teaching and research status of the environmental hygiene and labor hygiene in the United States. Teaching in the United States on Sanitation and Occupational Health The medical education system in the United States is different from ours. Medical schools and public health colleges are basically located in comprehensive universities. The vast majority of public health schools receive only graduate students.
