英语中有些词组由于词序不同,含义和用法也就大不相同。本文就常见的一些词组浅析如下: 1.much too/too much much too修饰副词或形容词,意为“非常”,“极其”;too much具有副词、名词和形容词的作用,用作形容词时修饰不可数名词,意为“太多”,“过于……”。例句: He is much too tired today. You’ve wasted too much time and money. 2.long before/before long long before意为“很久以前”,“在……以前”;before long(=soon)意为“不久”。例句: I had heard of the man long before I camehere.
