The key to the success or failure of organ transplantation is rejection of rejection. Since the widespread use of cyclosporin A (Cycloporin A) has been to improve the success rate of organ transplantation, a number of countries in Europe and the United States conducted such a wide range of operations. Cyclosporine is indeed a much superior immunosuppressant than previously used thiopurine, but while it is widely accepted as the best immunosuppressant, the authors were fortunate to have found a new immunosuppression at Fujisawa Pharmaceuticals Agent TK506 soon got the opportunity to study this compound. The result of in vitro experiments predicts good results in vivo organ transplantation experiments. Present (August 1990) United States
