铝在技术界中的应用范围,虽然日益扩大,但由于铝的价格较高,以致于在一系列的部门中,还末能应用。用电解方法从氧化铝制取铝,在现代已经达到很高的技术精湛程度;因此,就不能希望用这个方法所制的铝的成本再有所降低。为了要大大地降低铝的生产成本,就必须寻求另外的根本不用电解的炼铝方法。大家知道,电解炬铝方法有下列特点:(1)消耗的电能多;(2)电解槽的单位面积生产能力低;(3)必须应用很纯的原材料和辅助材料。高的电能消耗,是由于进行电解时电解槽的有效容积与散热的总表面积之的比例之不合理而引起
The range of applications of aluminum in the technology community, though growing, has not been able to be applied in a range of sectors due to the higher price of aluminum. Electrolysis of aluminum from aluminum oxide has reached a high level of technical sophistication in the modern world; therefore, it can not be expected that the cost of aluminum produced by this method will be further reduced. In order to greatly reduce the production costs of aluminum, it is necessary to seek another method of aluminum refining without electrolysis. As we all know, electrolytic torch aluminum method has the following characteristics: (1) consumes more electricity; (2) electrolyzer production capacity per unit area is low; (3) must be very pure raw materials and auxiliary materials. High electrical energy consumption is caused by the unreasonable ratio of the effective volume of the electrolytic cell to the total surface area of heat dissipation during electrolysis
