An antenna array consisting of short spiral antennas is fed with a single rectangular waveguide. In order to meet the matching conditions between antenna elements and waveguides, some short lines are inserted near the antenna array unit. According to the transmission line theory, determine the coupling phase and coupling factor. Mechanical rotation works well for each antenna element, so it is possible to create in-phase conditions at the aperture. It has been shown that with five, seven and nine spiral antenna arrays, the calculated results are in good agreement with the experimental results.
