2009年开始,天津市水产技术推广站、天津泗水村农业科技发展有限公司等开始研究鱼虾菜生态循环养殖技术修复北方盐碱地池塘养殖水质,通过三年的研究试验和推广应用,相对对比池塘,氨氮、亚硝酸态氮、磷酸盐、COD含量明显下降、蓝藻数量明显下降,浮游植物多样性增加,水质得到明显改善,蕹菜单茬单位平米产量稳定在4kg左右,由种植浮床蔬菜创造的亩新增利润达700元以上,并总结出该技术的应用操作要点,以此为全国其它水产养殖区域能科学地应用该项技术提供参考。
