国内过去矿井通风大多采用BY型及70B_2型轴流式通风机,这种风机是仿苏40年代产品,效率低、结构落后、噪声大、返风量达不到规程要求、性能不理想,一般实际运行效率在50~60%,浪费电能十分可观。我局平均每台风机每年多耗电30万度,折合2.4万元。为使用高效新风机,我局曾于1959年安装了沈阳鼓风机厂试制的K—06型风机,效率有所提高,最高静压效率达78%。至1977年以后,对使用的风机进行了局部改造,在BY型及70B_2型风机上使用机翼形扭曲叶片代替原梯形叶
