在切削钢或铝等塑性金属时,常发现前刀上粘附着一块很硬的金属,象是刀尖上长着“瘤”一样,人们称之为积屑“瘤”。这种积屑“瘤”极不稳定,在切削过程中,它不断地生长和消失。积屑增大时,切屑和工件表面对积屑的推力愈大,到一定程度积屑“瘤”顶部就被挤掉或整个剥落,随后又逐渐积聚。随着积屑“瘤”生长和消失,将改变吃刀深度,造成精度不高,尺寸无法控制,光洁度显著下降。切屑温度在300℃以上最为严重。 我厂在加工CrMn材料模子零件时,采用钨钢刀,车刀常发生积屑“瘤”及刀头钝化现象,使零件光洁度、精度都受到极大的影响。为此,操作者需要经常磨刀,增加了劳动强度,降低了工作效率。
